When we first walked into Peach Valley Cafe, we were greeted with a bright and contemporary atmosphere featuring a stainless steel diner style counter and pretty wooden booths lining the restaurant. The service is friendly and quick, but the food is the star of this restaurant.
Our group started with the sack of orchard fresh apple fritters, which are made with fresh Granny Smith apples, are dipped in a homemade batter, and then cooked to a golden crispy brown. Dusted in sugar and cinnamon, the apple fritters are served with strawberry yogurt and are a delicious way to start your breakfast at Peach Valley Cafe. Our entire group enjoyed them.
The menu selection is perfect for the breakfast connoisseur, with items ranging from omelets, Benedicts, sandwiches and french toast. Some of the omelet selections departed from the usual ham and cheese, and included options like the Greek omelet with baby spinach, feta cheese and roasted red peppers. The Benedict options included the traditional poached eggs on an english muffin with Canadian bacon and fresh hollandaise sauce – but the restaurant also offers a Philly Steak & egg Croissant Benedict and a Vegetable & Egg Croissant Benedict. The ingredients are fresh, and everything our group ordered looked amazing. The stuffed french toast looked especially decadent, and my co-worker was gracious enough to let me take a picture before she took her first bite!
We had a great dining experience at Peach Valley Cafe, and I highly recommend this as a dining destination in Ormond Beach! The restaurant is a very quick drive from Tropic Sun Towers, and the lunch menu looks equally as delicious as the breakfast menu.
